Right to Study

Non-standard students - The University of Manchester staff members, members of the public, and The University of Manchester alumni - must complete a Right to Study check.

Important

• Wholly online courses are excluded (LEAP language for Healthcare courses, Polish 1, and Russian 1) from the Right to Study check.
• From the 25/26 academic year, students who have previously taken a LEAP course are able to progress with LEAP without needing to complete a Right to Study check.
• If you are required to complete a Right to Study check, please complete the check as soon as possible and by no later than 12 September at 5pm. Unfortunately, if you don’t complete this check by this date we will be unable to progress your application further.
