Wind Orchestra

From Verdi to Grainger and from Bernstein to The Lion King, the Manchester University Wind Orchestra (MUWO) performs an enormous range of repertoire in their three annual concerts.

MUWO is an un-auditioned ensemble in which students enjoy a close sense of community, as well as a high level of musicianship.

MUWO is conducted by our student conductors on the Music department's conducting programme.
