String Orchestra

The Manchester University String Orchestra (MUSO) performs an exciting range of core string orchestra repertory, as well as works by student composers.

Past highlights have included works by Vivaldi, Schoenberg, Holst and Britten.

The String Orchestra is an un-auditioned ensemble that provides a unique, friendly atmosphere, where students from all areas of the university can get together to perform.

It is conducted by our student conductors on the Music department's conducting programme.
