Hallé Education Adopt-a-Player

The Adopt-a-Player programme gives selected students the opportunity to deliver a project in local schools alongside musicians from the Hallé Orchestra.

Each year, four students are selected (via application and interview) to take part in the programme. Each student is partnered with a player from the orchestra and 'adopted' by a participating school, where they conduct a series of workshops.

The project culminates in a final public concert featuring all four schools performing their own compositions.

The programme offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside professional musicians and be directly involved in a music education programme with a world-class orchestra.
