Courses for all

Our individual language courses cater to a range of levels from beginner to advanced, and are open to everyone - students of the University, members of staff and members of the public

LEAP courses follow the university's academic calendar, with Full Courses starting in week one of semester one and Semester 2 Courses starting in week one of semester two (see Course Dates). All courses will be delivered on campus unless otherwise advertised - please see our Course Information pages for more on this.

LEAP classes will run at the advertised times providing enrolments reach our minimum requirements. In the event that a class is unable to run, all students will be notified at the earliest opportunity, before teaching starts. Whilst we do not envisage that class times will change once teaching has started, there may be exceptional circumstances whereby this is unavoidable, for example due to staff illness. LEAP would endeavour to accommodate students in existing classes as far as possible.
