Research activity in Languages is driven by an engagement with pressing, international concerns in a global and cross-cultural context.
We investigate languages in the context of their social, aesthetic, political, and ethical cultures. This is developed through intensive work across a broad empirical and historical base and across a very wide range of theoretical and methodological frameworks.
