John Edward Taylor Fellowship
Established in 2009 and named after the founder of the Manchester Guardian, the department’s John Edward Taylor Fellowship scheme welcomes two major international scholars or writers to the university each academic year.
Fellows are nominated, elected, and invited by the staff in the department, and typically give one public lecture and two smaller talks or postgraduate workshop sessions during their time with us. The EAC Taylor Fellows hosted to date are:
