Brass Band

The University of Manchester Brass Band was formed in October 2011 and quickly went on to become one of the finest award-winning university brass bands in the country.

It won the title of best 'University Brass Band' at the UniBrass Competition two years running (2015 and 2016).

The band provides regular performing opportunities for brass players in the University, drawing its membership from both music and non-music students. It has toured to Ireland, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
