LEAP - German courses

We offer a number of two-semester (except Introductory German which is only one semester long) 3 contact hours per week courses aimed at developing your language competence and cultural knowledge for use in all walks of life in a German-speaking country.  Levels available range from absolute beginner to C1 standard as per the Common European Framework. 

Introduction to German is a beginners course, as is German 1, but runs for one semester only (semester two), therefore the level achieved at the end of the module would be roughly half of that of the full-year course (see 'learning outcomes' in the course description pages.
