Freelance composer and conductor

I work at the Royal Opera House as a cover conductor for The Royal Ballet, as well as being the conductor for the new music ensemble Khymerikal and Artistic Director of Constella Ballet & Orchestra. My music has been performed worldwide and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 with performances by ensembles including the BBC Singers, Opera North and Rambert Dance Company.

At Manchester I conducted the university’s orchestras and ensembles and alongside the conducting tuition, this provided me with the skills and experience I needed to establish my career. I also learnt a great deal from the Composition department which has certainly informed my work. The academic aspect of my degree has assisted my ability to successfully fundraise.

I love that every day is totally different from the last; it is impossible to be bored!
