Creative practice research events

Our Thursday research afternoons frequently include practice-based workshops and masterclasses drawing on the expertise of esteemed performers and composers who work intensively with our postgraduate students on their applied research projects in composition.

The Danel String Quartet is key to this process, but we also draw on the expertise of leading invited composers and practitioners from around the UK and further afield.
