Rebecca Brookes, Postgraduate Taught Student of the Year

MA student Rebecca Brookes, from the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, has been recognised in the 2017 Distinguished Achievement Awards.
History MA student, Rebecca Brookes has been crowned Postgraduate Student of the Year in the University’s Distinguished Achievement Awards.
The winners were chosen for their outstanding performances and significant contributions to the University.
Rebecca was presented with the award by President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell at the winter graduation ceremony in December 2017.
Rebeacca said "'I thoroughly enjoyed every minute on the MA History course. All the staff and my fellow students were wonderfully supportive and made my time on the programme an absolute pleasure. I'm thrilled to have been awarded the Distinguished Achievement medal, and am honoured to have been nominated for such a competitive and prestigious award."
