The Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) brings together a diverse range of researchers from across the Faculty of Humanities. The interdisciplinary nature of the Centre is a fundamental part of the way we address the complexities of the region.
Balancing regional specialisms with the globally expansive nature of Latin America and the Caribbean, we consider how the region is in constant dialogue with other parts of the globe, highlighting the importance of area studies for comparative and theoretical work in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
