Fees and funding

Fees and funding

Fees not only cover the cost of your tuition at the University but also registration costs, examinations and graduation.

Payment of fees will also entitle you to membership of the Library, the Students' Union and the Athletic Union.

The money section on the main University website is designed to guide you through all things financial, from the cost of living in Manchester, to managing debt, and working while you study.

Please note that students on a period of compulsory residence abroad are in some cases required to pay a reduced tuition fee.

Visit the student finance section to find out how much your undergraduate fees will be:

Fees vary for each postgraduate course. Visit the postgraduate fees section to find out more:

As well as student loans to cover fees and maintenance, UK/EU students may also be entitled to a University bursary or scholarship to support you through your studies.

Visit the student finance section on the main University website for information about student loans, scholarships and bursaries.
