Open days

The best way to get a feel for what The University of Manchester is all about is to come and visit us on one of our open days.

Lots of people gathered at University open day

Open days give you the chance to find out more about the type of academic and social life you can expect at The University of Manchester - as well as an opportunity to explore the University and the city for yourself.

Representatives from our programmes are on hand to answer any questions you might have about the subject you would like to study.

Undergraduate open days

At an undergraduate open day, you will be able to learn about subjects that you are interested in, meet current undergraduate students and staff, tour our campus and facilities, and gather information on all aspects of the University, allowing you to get a real feel for the place.

Forthcoming open days

Other ways to meet us

If you are unable to join us on the open day, you may want to sign up for a guided visit or accommodation tour instead. If you have booked a place but then find you are unable to come, you do not need to cancel.

Discover Days

The University of Manchester's Discover Days are informative, interactive events for aspiring undergraduate students who are interested in certain subject areas, but may not know exactly which course to choose. They are ideal for Year 12 students, or for other people applying to university through UCAS and considering Manchester.
